Sunday is a day of rest for some of us, not me. A car to wash using a bucket because water restrictions make using a hose illegal. This turns a one hour chore into a three hour burden, car wash next time for sure. Sunday sit down meal with the family is my turn this week but I have put it off until 7pm because of the heat. It will be a BBQ with salads and fruit salad and jelly (yanks=jello).

It's been two weeks since my last confession LJ post. My other half (coined BILS (brother-in-law senior), by animator), is over his bout of summer flu where he spent the first week puking and the second week eating us out of house and home. He withdraws completely when sick to our bed and shuts all the blinds, watches a little TV but mostly sleeps a listless sleep.

We spent a lot of time watching DVD's from Harry Potter to The West Wing. We watched the first two seasons of The West Wing - all 44 episodes! Can't wait until season three is released and season five starts in March.

I'm back at work with four days on and four days off then followed by four nights on and four nights off... I have 4 trips overseas on the calendar so far this year - great fun travelling on the taxpayer.

I think I'll have a swim before finishing the car and getting dinner ready.
